Private overnight proof trail

The Employee Foundry build log

The decisions that turned an overnight brief into a sandboxed preview.

Sandbox, no live tools connected
Strategy

The overnight brief asked the team to push model capability, build together through the night and deliver the final product by email.

Build

The single employee demo became a repeatable Foundry: one public website and one role produce a tailored sandbox preview.

Story

A finished, Kit-aligned sales experience and its timestamped proof trail became the primary Monday outcome.

StrategyCut

Broader company-building and public-launch scope was cut. One demo-clean sales experience became the overnight target.

Delivery

A fallback ladder was locked so the morning handoff would contain one finished sales experience even if generation breadth was reduced.

Build

The architecture boundary was fixed: public evidence, a five-question bottleneck interview, one safe sample and an inspectable proof trail.

DeliveryCut

Credentials, client data, live integrations, external writes, authentication, billing and public release were excluded.

Design

After Dark identity v1 set the visual rule: navy canvas, ivory ink, teal live signals and time as the proof motif.

Strategy

The sales steer was confirmed: every screen must make the AI Employee Starter Kit easier to understand and sell.

Design

The social card and morning email header were composed from the canonical wordmark and visually checked.

Delivery

The specification froze with the Kit bridge, sandbox boundary, private-preview rule and fallback path intact.
